Getting into the NHEC in 2012-13
Ongoing Construction Will Impact Entrance into the NHEC
Fans attending men's and women's hockey games at the National Hockey and Event Center will see a few changes to the building during the upcoming 2012-13 season.
Due to ongoing construction with the NHEC's expansion project, the usual parking and entrance patterns will be altered for the upcoming 2012-13 season. The following list provides SCSU hockey fans and NHEC visitors with important tips on getting into the arena this winter.
Avoid the Wait...Purchase Tickets On-Line
One of the easiest ways to avoid waiting in lines is to purchase tickets in advance on the new SCSU ticket website - www.scsutickets.com - This website allows you to purchase and print out your tickets at home for any SCSU game at the NHEC.
No Entrance on the Southside
Due to the construction, there will be no entrance to the NHEC from the southside of the building in 2012-13. Signs posted in the parking areas will be available to direct you to the appropriate entrances.
Public Entrances on Westside and Northside of NHEC
The general public will be able to enter the NHEC from the westside of the building, where the ticket office and will call windows are located. If you have purchased tickets on-line in advance, you may also use the public entrance on the northwest and northeast corners of the NHEC.
