Huskies Send Six Wrestlers to Cleveland
The St. Cloud State University wrestling team (19-1, 8-0 NSIC) will finish its 2013-14 season with a trip to the NCAA Division II championships in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15.  The 2014 NCAA finals will be held at the Cleveland Public Auditorium, which is located at 500 Lakeside Ave E in Cleveland, Ohio.

MEET THE HUSKIES HEADED TO CLEVELAND
St. Cloud State will be represented at the NCAA championships by freshman Tanner Johnshoy (125), junior Jay Hildreth (149), sophomore #5 Clint Poster (157), sophomore Gabe Fogarty (165), freshman Clayton Jennissen(174) and freshman #2 Austin Goergen (285).
Johnshoy (26-10) will open his trip to the NCAA finals with a first round match against Dave Fogle of Pittsburgh-Johnstown (27-5) in the 125-pound bracket. Johnshoy captured fourth place at the recent NCAA Division II Super 3 Regional tournament on Feb. 28-March 1 in Edmond, Okla.
At 149-pounds, Hildreth (18-5) will open at nationals against Andrew Bannister (22-9) of Notre Dame (OH). Hildreth placed third at the NCAA regional this season. At 157-pounds, Poster (29-7) will be making a return trip to the NCAA championships after gaining All-America notice for the Huskies in 2013. Poster will begin tournament competition in Ohio with a bout against Kyle Burns (19-10) ofÂ
Ashland. Poster placed second at the recent regional tournament.
Fogarty will also be making a return trip to the NCAA finals after gaining All-America status for the Huskies in 2013 at 165. Fogarty (10-7) will wrestle Jeff Weiss (29-6) of Indianapolis in the first round at the 2014 finals. Fogarty placed fifth at this year's regional tournament in Oklahoma.
At 174-pounds, Jennssien will make his first appearance at the NCAA finals with a bout against Adam Walters (28-3) of Findlay. Jennissen is 24-13 in 2013-14 and recently placed fifth at the regional.
The SCSU group is completed by Goergen (32-5), who will begin his NCAA journey with a bout against Andy Welton (24-7) of Mercyhurst. Goergen placed third in the 285 bracket at the 2014 NCAA Regional.
